Police arrest another Pakistani agent from Haryana, release confession video

Nuh: Police have arrested a man identified as Tarif from Haryana’s Nuh, for allegedly spying for Pakistan. He is reportedly a Pakistani agent who was in direct contact with Pakistani Embassy officials. This is the second arrest in 2 days in Nuh.

Tarif confesses to working for Pakistani Embassy

The accused is a resident of Kangarka village in Haryana. The police even released a confession video of the accused, where he admitted to having visited Pakistan multiple times and also working on the direction of Pakistani Embassy officials. He claimed to have met at least 2 Pakistani Embassy officials.

In a video confession, Tarif talked about his first visit to the Pakistani Embassy in order to get a Visa. The official there reportedly interviewed him and took his number. Tarif was told to return home and instructed to wait for a call from the Embassy official in which other details regarding his Visa will be shared. \

Tarif said that after 2-3 days, the official called him and said that if he wants a Visa to visit Pakistan, he needs to bring 2 SIM cards for him. The man then arranged for 2 SIMs and gave it to the official, following which he easily received his Visa. THe man visited Pakistan, post receiving the VIsa.

Upon returning the man got a call from the Embassy official. He was asked to send some people to the Pakistani officer, who were willing to visit Pakistan. He promised to share money received from these people. Tarif sent 8-10 people to the Embassy and received money from the official.

In 2024 for the second time, the Embassy official contacted Tarif and asked him to visit the Embassy. There he was introduced to a man named Jafar, who was another official working at the Embassy. The official instructed Tarif to remain in touch with Jafar, as he was now he was getting transffered. Jafar took his number and contacted Tarif after a few days.

Tarif said that once again he was instructed to get 2 SIM cards for Jafar. The Embassy official also told him that he has to do something else also this time and the payment for the work will be in lakhs. The Embassy official asked me to go to Sirsa Air Base and click pictures and videos of the place and forward it to him, confessed Tarif.

In the past few days police have arrested several individuals who had been working as Pakistani agents in India. A travel blogger and YouTuber, Jyoti Malohtra was arrested from Hisar, Davendra Singh Dhillon, a college student was picked up from Patiala and Nauman Ilahi, a security guard was picked up from Panipat, for allegedly spying for Pakistan.
