Bhagalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday transferred Rs 22,000 crore in bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers across the country under PM Kisan scheme from Bhagalpur district of Bihar. This was the 19th instalment of the scheme.
Addressing the event, the Prime Minister said that beneficiaries of the latest installments of the scheme also include 75 lakh farmers from Bihar. He added that out of of the total amount in the latest instalment, Rs 1600 crore was allotted to farmers of the state
