‘Planned, trained & executed’: Indian Army celebrates Operation Sindoor triumph

New Delhi: The Western Command of the Indian Army has taken to X to commemorate the success of “Operation Sindoor,” a strategic military operation conducted earlier this month. The operation, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, was detailed in a video shared on X, emphasising the meticulous planning, training and execution that led to its success.

The video, posted by the Western Command, begins with a stark reminder of the initial terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives, including tourists and a local resident. It transitions to scenes of Indian Army personnel, resolute and focused, with a senior officer saying, “There was no anger, there were only one thing on my mind,” underscoring the operation’s objective of delivering justice rather than seeking revenge.

The footage captures the precision of the strikes, with aerial and thermal imaging footage showing the destruction of enemy posts. The Western Command’s post on X reads, “#StrongAndCapable #OpSindoor Planned, trained & executed. Justice served,” accompanied by the video that details the operation’s timeline, starting on May 9, 2025, at around 9 pm.
