New Delhi: The Tamil Thalaivas pulled off a sensational heist to clinch a tie in the last few seconds of the match against the Jaipur Pink Panthers at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. Sachin was the top scorer for the Tamil Thalaivas with 11 points as the two sides ended the match at a score line of 30-30. Arjun Deshwal scored 7 points and Vikash Kandola added 6 points for the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers started the match well as skipper Arjun Deshwal picked up the first points for his team. After that, both sides traded blows with equal measure in the starting few minutes before the Panthers took a 2-point lead. Sachin scored the first Super Tackle of the match on Arjun Deshwal to bring the Tamil Thalaivas back on level terms.
Sachin scored the points for the Tamil Thalaivas while Arjun Deshwal, Vikash Kandola and Ankush Rathee led the charge for Jaipur Pink Panthers. Surjeet Singh inflicted an All Out on the Tamil Thalaivas and gave the Panthers a 6-point lead. From then on the Jaipur Pink Panthers dominated the match and went into the half-time break with the 6-point lead.
Chandran Ranjith started the comeback for the Tamil Thalaivas after the break. Arjun Deshwal, Vikash Kandola and Ankush Rathee played brilliantly as the Jaipur Pink Panthers continued to dominate the match. The Panthers dominated the match and protected their lead quite well.
Sachin, Nitesh and the defenders gave their best to bring the Thalaivas back into the contest in the final few minutes of the match and when it looked like the Jaipur Pink Panthers will win the match Tamil Thalaivas clinched the tie.
UP Yoddhas vs Gujarat Giants
In the second match of the evening, UP Yoddhas beat Gujarat Giants with a score line of 35-29 at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
