New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that if brought to power, BJP will root out corruption and nepotism in the state. He was addressing a public meeting on Sunday in Jharkhand’s Bokaro ahead of the state assembly elections.
PM Modi pointed out that the BJP-NDA government, when it comes to power, will crack down on the paper leak and recruitment mafia that the JMM-Congress has created. Those guilty will be sent behind bars and will not be spared, he said.

1. The BJP-NDA has only one mantra here: ‘We have created Jharkhand, and we will nurture Jharkhand’. People who opposed the creation of Jharkhand will never contribute to its development.
2. Ten years ago, from 2004 to 2014, the Congress (UPA) government was in power at the Center. At that time, the central government allocated only Rs 80,000 crore to Jharkhand over a span of 10 years. After 2014, the government in Delhi changed. In the past 10 years, we (the BJP) have provided over Rs 3 lakh crore to Jharkhand.

The BJP wants the poor to have permanent homes, good roads to be built in cities and villages, access to electricity and water, healthcare facilities, educational opportunities, irrigation water, and medicine in old age.
