Chandrapur: A 8-foot long python was found inside a potato container in a hotel in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur, triggering a panic among the people. The non-venomous snake was found inside a box of potatoes kept at the hotel in Lohara village. A video has gone viral showing the reptile sitting on top of some potatoes.

The python was spotted by hotel staff when one of them went to get potatoes. Upon spotting the snake, the worker ran out in fear. The news of the snake in the box led to chaos at the hotel. The reptile was later rescued and released in a forest area after the hotel owner called a local snake catcher. In the clip, a man can be seen releasing the python near a water body in a forest.
