Kasganj: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday hailed Indian armed forces for Operation Sindoor’s success and said that without them people of India would not have remained safe in the presence of enemies like Pakistan.

“Under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, India’s brave soldiers have defeated Pakistan… If we did not have a strong army, how would the people of the country have remained safe in the presence of enemies like Pakistan… Pakistan is pleading with the world to spare it once,” news agency ANI quoted CM Yogi Adityanath as saying at an event in Kasganj.
He added, “This is because, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in the last 10 years, work has been done to modernise and strengthen the army. Continuous efforts have been made, and this is the reason why the Indian Army is always ready to face any enemy. If the enemy dares to do something, then the Indian Army has the full capability to enter its home, kill and destroy it.”
The chief minister also slammed the Opposition parties and said that while earlier there used to be chaos in the state due to the mafia, things have changed under his government. “There used to be chaos, riots in urban areas earlier, and people used to be scared. Samajwadi Party used to spread insecurity along with goons. The development of people was not on the agenda. Mafias used to harass gentlemen. Previous governments used to glorify the wicked. This was the work of previous governments. Now things have changed and the mafia is scared. This is the new Uttar Pradesh of the new India.”
