The era of new OS updates is back! While Android 15 is still slowly reaching the devices, tech giants are introducing their latest OS versions in the meantime. OxygenOS 15, OnePlus’ new software skin built on top of Android 15 is all set to release today. Based on rumours, OxygenOS 15 is expected to bring new design, better animations and of course, a lot of AI features to your OnePlus smartphones, tablets, and more.

OxygenOS 15: Expected Features And Upgrades

Ahead of the OxygenOS 15 preview, several leaks and rumours, some based on the press release while some by tipsters, suggested that the OxygenOS 15 will have smooth animations in various areas. It is expected to be based on Oppo’s ColorOS 15 which was recently released in China. Based on a 91Mobiles report, it may have a Split control centre revealing all the essential toggles, brightness bar, Wi-Fi and internet settings, and more.

Moreover, OxygenOS 15 is expected to have lock screen customisations with different styles and fonts to choose from. You may be able to edit clock colour and effects along with always-on-display (AOD) effects. 

Apart from these, AI features are obvious to be included with OxygenOS 15 which may help you to maximise productivity and creativity. 

OxygenOS 15 Release Date And Time

OnePlus is all set to launch today October 24th at 10:30 AM EST and 4:30 PM CEST. In India, the event will be live at 9:00 PM IST via OnePlus’ official YouTube channel. While OnePlus has already confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus device, assumingly the OnePlus 13 will ship with the OxygenOS 15 out-of-the-box. Apart from this, several other flagship and mid-range models such as: 

  • OnePlus 12
  • OnePlus 12R
  • OnePlus Open
  • OnePlus 11
  • OnePlus 11R
  • OnePlus 10T
  • OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10R are expected to get the OxygenOS 15 update. 

Some budget devices and tablets including the OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus Nord CE 3,  OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Pad, and OnePlus Pad Go are also expected to get new OS update.
