Over 1,000 kg fake ghee seized from Jaipur ahead of Diwali festival | Video

Jaipur: A raid by Muhana police led to the recovery of fake ghee up to 1,000 kg. The raid was conducted at a warehouse Muhana police station area in Rajasthan capital Jaipur.

Over 1,000 kilograms of counterfeit ghee has been seized by the police during the raid. The seized ghee was apparently of Saras and Krishna branded.

Police have also recovered packaging materials, wrappers, and boxes used for for packing making the ghee were also recovered.

According to reports, the fake ghee was being manufactured under the brand name Saras and Krishna. Following the raid, the police have informed the district food department for further action in the case.

The raid took place in Keshyawala area under the limits of Muhana Police station limits.

Following the information by police, a team from the food department officials also rushed to the site.
