‘Outlook for India changed’: Amit Shah on IAF’s airstrike after 2019 Pulwama attack

Dehradun: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that that India’s strong reply through airstrike against terrorists inside Pakistan’s territory was needed after 2019 Pulwama attack, as the it chhanged the world’s outlook towards India.

His statement came on the on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the attack in Jammu in Kashmir in 40 jawans were killed. Days after the Pulwama attack, the Indian Air Force conduscted an airstrike against the terrorist camps in Pakistan.

‘A message went to terrorists across the globe’

Addressing the gathering Dehradun on the closing ceremony of the 38th national games, the home minister said that a message went to terrorists across the globe through the airstrike after Pulwama terror attack in which 40 jawans were killed, that India’s borders and its army cannot be taken lightly.

“In 2019, 40 of our soldiers were killed in Pulwama on this day. The sacrifices they made for the country secured the country from any kind of attack. After their killing, the Indian Air Force under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, did an airstrike by moving inside Pakistan and gave a forceful reply to terrorists,” the home minister said.

He added, “Because of this, the world’s outlook on India has changed. and a message has gone to the terrorists across the world that they cannot play with India’s borders and its army. I pay by heartfelt tribute to a40 jawans who lost their lives on this day.”
