New Delhi: A meeting of the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the NDA was chaired by PM Narendra Modi in Delhi on Sunday. Leaders from different states had reached Delhi to take part in the meeting. Just a day earlier, the PM had met CMs from all states in the country at the NITI Aayog meeting. In the Sunday meeting of all NDA CMs and Deputy CMs, a proposal was presented regarding Operation Sindoor and caste census.
A resolution was passed in the meeting praising the valour of the armed forces and courageous leadership of PM Narendra Modi. Sources said a resolution was moved by Shiv Sena leader and Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, saying that Operation Sindoor had boosted the confidence of Indians.
Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal, Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan attended the meeting. Apart from CMs and Deputy CMs, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah were also part of the meeting. All of them praised Operation Sindoor. The meeting saw attendance from 19 CMs and as many Deputy CMs.
Operation Sindoor gave confidence to Indians: Maharashtra Deputy CM
Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said during the meeting, that the saying that whoever tries to destroy us, will be reduced to dust, is no more just a saying, it has become a reality now. He said that the military strikes has given a new confidence and self-respect to the common people in the country.
He further said, “I salute the policies of the central government, the valour of the army and the courage of PM Modi. Modiji’s words do not flow blood in my veins, but hot vermilion. Today it has become the passion of India.”
Shinde added that the country is proud to have a courageous leader like PM Modi. Modiji has given full support to the Army during a serious security crisis, he said. He termed Operation Sindoor as an answer to those who were blocking the path of peace for the country.
The Shiv Sena leader went on to say that India’s sovereignty and safety of its citizens are paramount, and this is the commitment of the NDA government. India will not accept any blackmailing and respond to terrorism effectively, he added.
Shinde said that no distinctions will be made between terrorists and the countries or governments which support them. NDA leaders will spread counter terrorism messages across the world. Modi ji’s vision is like that of a global statesman – everyone is united on national interests. NDA is committed to a safe, prosperous and united India under the leadership of Modi ji, he concluded.
Booklet on Mahakumbh distributed during meeting
UP CM Yogi Adityanath had a booklet on the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj distributed during the CMs meeting. A presentation about the Mahakumbh was also part of the meeting. Notably the NDA leaders meeting gave an opportunity to every state to give a presentation regarding the best practices in their state.
Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai gave a presentation on Bastar model and best practices. This presentation was specially found appreciation from all corners.
