New Delhi: Two days after a ceasefire between India and Pakistan after intense tensions, India on Monday released the names of those Pakistani soldiers who attended the burial of Pakistani terrorists killed in India’s Operation Sindoor. The step was taken after Pakistan tried to claim that India hit their civilians on May 7 after the launch of Operation Sindoor.
India had launched the operation to target nine terrorist camps inside Pakistan days after the Pahalgam terror attacks in which 26 people were killed in several others were injured. There was widespread anger in India following the terror attack.
After Operation Sindoor, in which close to a hundred terrorists were killed, Pakistan claimed that India attacked its civilian areas which were completely rejected by New Delhi. On Monday, India released the names of the terrorists who attended the funerals of these terrorists.
In photos released by India, these officials have been identified as Lt Gen Fayyaz Hussain Shah, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, and Brigadier Mohd Furqan Shabbir. Senior Pakistani police officer, Usman Anwar, and politician, Malik Sohaib Ahmed, can also be seen in the picture. Among the terrorists who were killed in India’s Operation Sindoor were Khalid, Mudassir Khadian Khas, Mohammad Hassan Khan, Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed.
While Khalid (LeT), played a role in smuggling weapons from Afghanistan to Pakistan, Mudassir Khadian Khas (LeT) was in charge of the Muridke terrorist camp. Similarly, Mohammad Hassan Khan (JeM) used to operate from the Syedna Bilal terrorist camp. Among other terrorists who were part of the same camp were Mufti Asghar and Ashiq Negroo.
