Kolkata: In an awkward incident reported from the Calcutta High Court, an obscene video suddenly started playing during a hearing. The incident took place when the hearing was underway in the court of Justice Shubhendu Samant. The hearing was livestreamed on YouTube.
Many people present in the court were shocked to see the offensive video during the hearing. Following the incident, the livestreaming was abruptly stopped.
How did this happen?
As the High Court is currently on vacation, the hearings are on in the vacation bench. On Monday, the hearing was underway in the room number 7 in the court of Justice Subhendu Samantar.
According to the sources in the Calcutta High Court, action will be taken in this regard by the IT Cell of the high court. Generally, a complaint is filed with the police when such a hacking takes place.
However, no complaint has been filed so far in the nearby Hare Street police station. The high court officials are also investigated whether there was any negligence on the part of any employee of the High Court.
