The police were also dispatched to the scene and, according to their report, the shopkeeper, identified as Ramkesh, was charged with disturbing the peace. Food safety officer Narendra Singh stated that the complainant had left the shop after making the accusation and did not provide a written complaint to the food safety department. The department’s team collected samples from the shop, including items other than the samosas, but did not find the specific samosa with the alleged frog leg.
