New Delhi: On being asked what message was being conveyed to the adversary, Air Marshal AK Bharti quoted lines from Tulsidas’ Ramcharit Manas:”…vinay na manat jaladh jad gaye teen din beet, bole Ram sakop tab bhay binu hoye na preet.” It translates into: “The insentient ocean does not heed my humble request, even after three days have passed. Then Lord Ram, angered, said — “No love without fear.”
The verse holds a philosophical insight: humility and love alone may not always be enough — at times, discipline or fear becomes necessary to ensure order and respect, particularly when dealing with the obstinate or unresponsive.
After quoting the lines, Air Marshal AK Bharti pointed out, “A hint is enough for the wise.”

‘All pilots have returned home safely’
On Sunday, Air Marshal AK Bharti had confirmed that all pilots who carried out Operation Sindoor had returned home safe and sound. He added that the Air Force achieved all its objectives in the precision strikes launched against Pakistan.
In the press briefing yesterday, he said: “We are in a combat scenario and losses are part of combat. However, we have achieved all our objectives, and all our pilots are back home.” “We have downed a few Pakistani planes,” he added, while refusing to specify the number. “Pakistani aircraft were prevented from entering Indian airspace, so we don’t have wreckage, but we are certain of the hits.”
