Nearly a dozen injured after ‘BJP-linked’ mob attacks Gurez MLA’s rally

Srinagar: At least a dozen people were injured some of them seriously when a rally held by local Gurez MLA from National Conference was attacked by a group allegedly belonging to BJP workers.

Several vehicles were also damaged in the attack as the mob attacked the MLA Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi’s rally in Gurez area of Bandipora.

The MLA has accused local BJP workers of targeting his rally, while local BJP leader’s son said the NC workers had ‘provoked’ them.
