Mumbai Boat Accident Updates: Death toll mounts to 13, PM Modi offers Rs 2 lakh aid

Mumbai Boat Accident News Highlights: At least thirteen persons including one Indian Navy officer died after a boat capsized at sea in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. According to the initial reports around 100 people were rescued, while a search is underway for missing passengers.

The incident took place when the ferry, named “Neelkamal”, was heading to Elephanta Island, a popular tourist destination, from Gateway of India. A small boat dashed against Neelkamal around 4 pm, police said.
