MUDA site allotment case: Siddaramaiah to be grilled by Lokayukta police today

New Delhi: Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah left for Mysuru on Wednesday after he was summoned by the Lokayukta police for questioning in connection with the MUDA site allotment case. Siddaramaiah has been named as accused number one in the case. The Lokayukta police had quizzed the CM’s wife on October 25. She is the accused number two.

There are allegations that 14 sites were allotted to the CM’s wife by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and the role of Siddaramaiah in the entire dealing is under scanner.

On September 27, Mysuru-located Lokayukta police establishment registered an FIR in which it named Siddaramaiah, his wife, Swamy and Devaraju — from whom Swamy had bought a land and gifted it to Parvathi — and others. Swamy and Devaraju have already appeared before the Lokayukta police and undergone marathon questioning.
