New Delhi: Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni attended the birthday party of Radhika Merchant on October 16 in Mumbai, having attended her wedding with Anant Ambani as well in July this year. Anant, son of India’s biggest business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani, tied the knot with Radhika in what was a grand event spanning for days which was graced by multiple global and Indian celebrities.

Radhika’s birthday bash also saw several Bollywood celebrities marking their presence. One of the notable guests was Orry, an internet sensation, known for his frequent meetings with many B-town biggies. He met with the legendary cricketer during the lavish event and both posed for a picture as well which has gone viral on the internet. Dhoni post-retirement

Having announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020, Dhoni continues to steal the limelight with his visits across the globe. After serving the nation for almost 17 years, Captain Cool is finally getting the much-deserved time off the field. Although he continues to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), speculations are running rife that the 2025 edition of the cash-rich league can be his final outing.

Similar had been the case for the past few years where it was almost confirmed that Dhoni wouldn’t play “next year” but arrived on the field in style, surprising everyone and delighting his fanbase. It remains to be seen if he will take the pay cut after the BCCI recently announced the player retention rules for all the IPL franchises. One of the developments was considering a player as uncapped if it has been five years since he represented his national team which brings Dhoni to the centrestage.
