Meiyazhagan revolves around Arulmozhi Varman, who left his ancestral home with his family after it was divided among the relatives. After the partition, the family moves to Madras and Arl returns to his ancestral home after 20 years for a cousin’s wedding. In his hometown, he meets a stranger and embarks on a journey to piece together the broken memories of his past where he uncovers a long-hidden truth and rediscovers his roots unexpectedly.
