Maruti Suzuki Starts Taking Bookings Of The New Dzire

While the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been leaked quite a few times, Maruti has still teased the upcoming vehicle. They have also opened the pre-bookings of the vehicle. Maruti will be launching the vehicle officially on November 11, 2024.

The new Dzire is an all new generation of the vehicle rather than the facelift. It will feature a new front fascia with new LED headlights, fog lights and a large front grille. There are only small changes to the sides of the vehicle and the most distinct change will be new diamond cut alloy wheels. The rear is also quite different and is more angular than before.

On the inside, the Dzire is very similar to the latest generation of the Swift which it is based on, so we can expect to see a 9-inch infotainment touch screen with a floating display, and quite a few changes to the dashboard itself. Unlike the Swift, the Dzire will feature a lighter colour dual-tone interior to make things more airy. The Dzire will also feature a sunroof which is a first for this segment of cars.

The engine is going to be the same new three-cylinder 1.2L Z-Series NA petrol unit which produces 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It will be paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT and will also come with a CNG option. The Dzire is arguably the most popular car in its segment and will now offer even more features. It competes with the Hyundai Aura and will also rival the upcoming Honda Amaze facelift.

Customers can pre-book the Dzire by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000 and we expect deliveries to start from mid-November, just a few days after its official launch, as the vehicle has already started coming to dealer lots.
