Man killed in Bihar over illicit affair with woman whose spouse is abroad

Dharampur: A tragic murder came to light in Dharampur village of Bihar, where a young man, Rohit Kumar, lost his life due to an illicit affair with a married woman, Nisha Kumari. Nisha’s husband, Rahul, is currently working in Dubai, which led to her involvement with Rohit, a resident of nearby Tetia Bambar village.

The affair reportedly bloomed while Nisha’s husband was abroad, with Rohit visiting her daily. However, the relationship took a dark turn when Rohit disappeared under suspicious circumstances 12 days ago, prompting his family to accuse Nisha of murder.

Initially, Nisha misled the authorities regarding Rohit’s whereabouts. However, her story changed when the police confronted her. Following police pressure, she confessed to having a hand in Rohit’s death, revealing that she had assistance from local resident Bittu Kumar and several accomplices.

According to reports, Rohit visited Nisha on October 21 but never returned home. When he failed to come back, his family filed a missing person’s report and subsequently accused Nisha of foul play. Tensions escalated as community members became aware of the affair, leading to confrontations between Nisha’s family and Rohit’s relatives.

Nisha and her accomplices allegedly killed Rohit after he visited her home, with his body later discovered in a decomposed state following information provided by Bittu during interrogation. Police have since launched a full investigation into the murder, looking into the motives behind this tragic act of violence.
