New Delhi: A minor parking dispute escalated into a horrifying act of violence in the Bithoor police jurisdiction, near Naramao in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. A man bit off a part of a retired engineer’s nose over the dispute.

The altercation began when flat owner Kshitij noticed another vehicle parked in his designated spot. He contacted the society secretary, Rupendra Singh Yadav, a retired engineer and resident of the complex, and asked him to come downstairs. Although Yadav had already instructed the guard to remove the vehicle, Kshitij insisted on a personal meeting.

Nose severed in savage act

Kshitij allegedly began verbally abusing Yadav after meeting him before launching a physical assault. In a savage act, Kshitij reportedly bit into the elderly man’s nose, severing a portion of it.

Yadav was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where he is currently in a stable condition. His daughter, Priyanka, stated that the flesh from the front part of his nose had been torn off. The family now plans to take him to Delhi for advanced medical treatment.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the apartment premises. According to reports, another individual was present at the scene during the attack but neither intervened nor assisted the victim.

Victim’s son files complaint

Yadav’s son, Prashant filed a formal complaint with the police. Based on his report, the police have registered a case under serious charges against the accused, Kshitij Mishra.

Inspector Prem Narayan Vishwakarma of Bithoor police station confirmed that the victim’s medical examination has been conducted and that an investigation is underway, using CCTV footage to determine the exact sequence of events.
