Beed: Following the success of “Operation Sindoor” in which India hit several terrorist facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), PM Narendra Modi and his government are being praised across India and the world. Now, a couple who were all ready to tie the knot decided to honour the PM for his decision to strike Pakistan, by anointing his picture with milk.

Beed couple honours PM Modi for ‘Operation Sindoor’

PM Narendra Modi’s picture was anointed with milk at a wedding ceremony in Ashti taluka of Beed district. Not only this, post the missile strike against Pakistan, cries of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ were also heard at this wedding ceremony.

The bride and groom performed the “abhishek” of PM Narendra Modi’s picture, soon after they entered the wedding venue. This act was a way of showering praises on the PM of the country for carrying out missile strikes against Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Pahalgam terror attack and India’s response

On April 22, 26 people, all of whom were civilians, were killed by terrorists in the picturesque location ofPahalgam,Jammu and Kashmir. Of those killed 25 were Indian nationals and 1 was from Nepal. Most of those murdered by the terrorists were tourists.

India vowed to take revenge for the heinous attack. On the intervening night of May 6-7, 2025, India conducted “Operation Sindoor” and attacked the terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Altogether 9 terror infrastructures were targeted, which were headquarters of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen. India struck terror camps in Bahawalpur and Muridke in Pakistan and Kotli in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
