‘Made Delhi the capital of gangters’: Hoardings appear in ITO targeting BJP

New Delhi: Anonymous hoardings have been found in Delhi’s busiest intersection ITO, claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made the city the capital of crimes in the country. These hoardings, however, did not have the names of the person who put up these, nor that of the printer. It is noteworthy the city has observed a total lack of law and order in the last couple of days, with reports of crimes shooting up in the last 48 hours. While there had been reports of crimes from several parts of the city, these were related to threats of ransom, firing, and murder.

Apart from these, the names of three big gangsters are also being taken, including Goldie Brar, Himanshu Bhau, and Deepak Boxer. Extortions have been demanded from the businessmen in the name of these gangsters. Businessmen were attacked when they refused to pay any money. These posters have also emerged at a time when Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj raised the issue of collapsing law and order in Delhi. He had also targeted Delhi LG VK Saxena regarding the same.

Saurabh Bharadwaj slams Delhi LG

“What has happened to the law and order situation in Delhi? There was never such terror of gangsters in Delhi. The criminals are fearless, they are not even afraid of the police. I had requested earlier also. You should start surprise inspection of police stations and posts, this is your job, it is your responsibility,” Bharadwaj wrote a message on X, tagging the LG.

Manish Sisodia slams BJP

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, too shared an ANI video of posters with the message, “BJP has made Delhi the capital of gangsters. The way incidents of firing and ransom demands are happening at some businessman’s place every day, it is clear that these gangsters have the blessings of the BJP. If BJP focuses on improving the law and order situation in Delhi instead of stopping the work of the elected government of Delhi, it will be beneficial for the people of Delhi.”
