‘Let’s take nation further towards unity’: President Murmu in New Year Eve’s message

New Delhi: Extending her wishes and greetings on New Year’s Eve to citizens, President Droupadi Murmu underscored the importance of taking “our society and nation” further on the path of unity and excellence.

In her message, she highlighted that the new year represents new hopes, dreams, and aspirations. “On the joyous occasion of New Year, I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all Indians, living in India and abroad,” she said, as per a press release shared from the President’s website.

She also highlighted that the occasion offers an opportunity to move ahead with renewed energy to fulfill “our wishes”. The President pointed out that the arrival of the New Year marks the beginning of fresh hopes, dreams and aspirations in our lives. The occasion of New Year offers us an opportunity to march forward with renewed vigour to fulfil our wishes, she said.

Making an appeal to welcome the “new year with joy and enthusiasm”, she conveyed her message to “take our society and nation further on the path of unity and excellence”.
