Mumbai: Popular online ticket booking platform BookMyShow has removed Comedian Kunal Karma from its artists list and has cleared all his content from the platform, Shiv Sena Members stated claiming that the app has blacklisted him.

Rahool Kanal, Shiva Sena functionary on Saturday asserted that BookMyShow has taken down all content of Kunal Kamra along with removing his name from the list of artists. Kanal is the media in-charge of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena expressed his gratefulness to the platform CEO Ashish Hemrajani for keeping the application “clean and keeping such artist out of the list of pure entertainment.”

Confirming the news, Kamra wrote on X, “Hello @bookmyshowcan you please confirm if I have your platform to list my shows if not it’s fine. I understand…”

Rahool Kanal was booked along with other party members for vandalising the studio where Kunal Kamra performed. Mumbai Police has issued three notices to Kamra, believed to be in Puducherry, seeking his personal appearance, but he has skipped all of them.
