New Delhi: A long anticipated moment has finally unfolded with popular educator and youth icon, Khan Sir, hosting a grand wedding reception. His wife also made first first public appearance at the grand event.
The photos and videos from the event, have surfaced. The reception was held at Panache Banquets in Danapur. It has taken social media by storm, especially with a light-hearted moment featuring RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav has been doing rounds on social media.
Khan Sir, a youth icon
Khan Sir, who married in a quiet ceremony in May amid the rising tensions between India and Pakistan, had chosen not to celebrate in a grand way at that time. In one of his live classes, he later mentioned, that he had prioritised national sentiment over personal festivities. “For the sake of the nation, I thought it was better to keep the celebration small,” he had said.
Now that the conditions are normalised, Khan Sir opened his special day to his friends supporters and dignitaries. The venue was decorated with vibrant lights and floral decorations.
His wife, donning a deep red, heavily embroidered lehanga and a veil, captivated hearts with her graceful and traditional appearance. Khan Sir himself appeared in a black suit, pink shirt and red tie. Both of them radiated joy and happiness.
A viral video from the event shows Khan Sir gently holding his wife’s hand and escorting her to the stage. This moment struck a chord among many of his followers, admirers and students.
Tejashwi Yadav’s viral comment
Adding a touch of humour to the occasion, Tejashwi Yadav, who was present at the ocassion along with several other dignitariesjokingly asked Khan Sir, “Kya hua, byaah kab tha?” (What happened to you? When did you get married?)
To which Khan Sir responded, “Jab India-Pakistan ka conflict chal raha tha, usi beech mein. Aur model aap hi ka tha, sir — bilkul chhupchaap se karna hai aur baad mein batana hai.” (Right when the India-Pakistan conflict was going on. And sir, the model was yours, keep it absolutely quiet and inform people later.)
This humorous exchange left the crowd amused and has also been doing rounds on social media.

The grand celebration saw the presence of many prominent figures including Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Education Minister Sunil Kumar, and Union Minister of State Raj Bhushan Nishad and several others.
