To get rid of this issue, Reliance Jio has rolled out a feature dubbed AI Sensor which will automatically blur the adult scenes on the TV! Sounds fascinating?
As per a video by tech reviewer Rajiv Makhni, JioTV+ has introduced a new feature called AI Sensor which will automatically censor any adult scenes that appear on the TV. Here is how it works.
AI That Blurs Adult Scenes
The AI Sensor feature of the JioTV+ app will detect and blur that particular segment which will be R-rated or 18+ scenes. Not only an adult scene, but this feature can also mute audio if needed. The video shared by the tech reviewer showed that JioTV+ blurs the entire display of the TV for a particular segment with 18+ content.
Users reacted to the post about this new AI feature to blur the adult content on TVs while claiming that finally, tech giants are putting AI to some good use, while another user suggested: “Better to block out the scene because blurred will only make children more curious and they will search it in the internet (sic).”

Still, this can be a saver for parents or families who like to watch TV with everyone. However, there is no mention of how this feature can be switched off when you don’t need it anymore.
JioTV+ App
For those who haven’t used the JioTV+ app, know that it is a dedicated app for smart TVs, unlike JioTV which is an OTT app to be installed on phones as well as smart TVs. It comes with Jio set-top boxes to bring live TV channels and OTT subscriptions along with it. However, now other users with different smart TVs can access JioTV+ as it is now available to download on Play Store, Galaxy Store, and LG Content Store.
