New Delhi: “There was an attempt to cover-up the rape and murder of the 31-year-old junior doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital,” Agnimitra Paul, Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, has said, while reacting to a TV9 Bharatvarsh investigation. The probe revealed that the authorities tried to immediately cremate the doctor’s body by skipping the three bodies already present at the cremation hall for their last rites, raising concerns about attempt to tamper evidence.
Paul said that now its clear that there was something suspicious in the entire matter. She added that the TMC leaders tried to hush up the case. “We want the resignation of Mamata Banerjee,” she demanded.
