“Pakistan Ko Din Me Taare Dikha Diye”, Rajnath Singh praises armed forces on Operation Sindoor

New Delhi: India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a strong condemnation of terrorism, specifically targeting Pakistan-sponsored attacks on India. In a statement, Singh described terrorism as a global challenge and the enemy of humanity and peace. He highlighted India’s prolonged experience of suffering due to decades of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, stating that the government maintains a firm zero-tolerance policy.

Singh’s statement cited several key military actions undertaken by India as examples of its commitment to combating terrorism. These include the 2016 surgical strikes and the 2019 Balakot airstrike. He also mentioned a future operation, Operation Sindoor (2025), although details regarding this operation remain undisclosed. The minister was clear that India would not hesitate to eliminate terrorists or retaliate against those who shelter them.

Beyond immediate military action, Singh stressed the importance of eliminating the entire terrorist infrastructure. This requires dismantling the financial, ideological, and political support networks that enable terrorist activity. A crucial initial step, he argued, is the establishment of a universally accepted definition of terrorism, enabling more effective international cooperation against it.
