ICS has been at the forefront of the fight against cancer for seven decades – Dr. Anita Borges
On this historic occasion, Dr. Anita Borges, National Vice President of ICS, said that the launch of our mobile app Rise Against Cancer is a matter of great joy for us. ICS has been at the forefront of the fight against cancer for the last seven decades. ICS is a ray of hope for thousands of cancer patients from deprived sections. In fact, treatment can be effective for most patients provided the cancer is detected early. But there is less awareness and more misleading information about this terrible disease. On top of that, treatment is very expensive, so regular check-up and treatment of people is often not possible. But we are confident that if we continue to work tirelessly together, people will get the courage to stay two steps ahead of cancer. Cancer will be detected soon and treatment will also start soon. ,
Speaking at the launch, RGCIRC CEO Shri DS Negi said, “We are determined to fight cancer and understand the importance of treatment for its prevention. Congratulations to the entire ICS team on the launch of their mobile app Rise Against Cancer. This app will be effective in increasing awareness and information for cancer prevention. By partnering with ICS, we have expressed our confidence in the utility of this app for the common people. This is in line with RGCIRC’s mission to deliver healthcare with innovation. Together we will make people aware and start a new era of cancer prevention and treatment.”
