New Delhi: The Indian Army responded effectively to the unprovoked firing by Pakistani forces at several locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night, according to military sources.

This exchange of fire comes amid rising tensions between the two countries, especially following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that sadly claimed the lives of 26 civilians.

Early reports suggest that the firing was started by Pakistan, prompting a robust response from Indian forces. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties so far. Further details are awaited as the situation develops.
