
New Delhi: Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Ambala and Chandigarh have been put on high alert due to their close proximity to the border with our hostile neighbour. The Deputy Commissioner of Ambala has said, “An Air warning has been received from Air Force station of possible attack. Sirens are being sounded. All are advised to remain indoors and away from balconies.”

The Indian Air Force station on May 9 issued an air warning to Chandigarh, warning the residents of a possible attack. The citizens of the city have been advised to stay alert and sirens are being sounded.
