Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become the fastest growing country in the world from economic point of view.
Shekhawat said that in the last 10 years, rapid work has been done towards strengthening the infrastructure. We have brought 25 crore people of the country out of the poverty line. Infrastructure is being developed in this direction so that the country moves towards a developed nation. Our aim is to make the country a developed and self-reliant nation by 2047.
Shekhawat said in the press conference that in the last ten years, 1 lakh 46 thousand kilometers of national highways have been constructed. The government will give further impetus to the development works to fulfill the resolve of developed India. There has been an eightfold increase in high speed trains. Citizens of the entire country are traveling by air today. To promote air travel, the number of airports in the country has been increased from 74 to 150 in the last ten years. Work has been done towards strengthening the ports to increase the waterways in the country. Work has been done towards improving the old ports.
He said that India is going to become an energy exporting country in the world. The country has also set a new record in the world in satellite launching. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work has been done to give height to this direction. Efforts are being made in every component to make India a developed nation. India is not only fulfilling its own needs but is also fulfilling the needs of the world. India’s development is going to be important for the world.
