New Delhi: Indian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes on Pakistan’s air defence radars and systems early on Thursday morning. According to official sources, one of the key air defence systems located in Lahore was neutralised during the operation. Indian response came following multiple failed attempts by the Pakistan military to target Indian military bases across Northern and Western India on Wednesday night.
Officials confirmed that Pakistan had tried to engage Indian military installations using drones and missiles in cities including Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, and Chandigarh. However, these attempts were successfully foiled by India’s air defence systems, preventing any damage or casualties. Indian military described its response as being in the same domain and with the same level of intensity as the provocation from Pakistan.
