New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday said that India is one of the oldest countries in the world and its role is that of an elder brother. India is a nation which promotes peace, harmony and religion in the world. Referring to the recent strikes by India against Pakistan, the RSS chief said that it is very important for India to be powerful. He was speaking at an award ceremony organized at Ravinath Ashram in Harmara, Jaipur.
Bhagwat said that there has been a tradition of sacrifice in India. We worship all great men, from Lord Ram to Bhamashah who sacrificed their all for the society. He emphasised that even to give the message of peace and dharma, one needs to be powerful.
World does not understand language of love without power
Referring to the recent military action against Pakistan, Bhagwat said that India does not hold any grudge against anyone. But the world listens to and understands the language of love, only when you have power. This is the nature of the world, which cannot be changed, he added.
