New Delhi: In what may cause embarrassment to the three-party led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena minister Tanaji Sawant said that he vomits after sitting next to NCP leader Ajit Pawar in the cabinet. Sawant, who is Public Health Minister in the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government, said he never got along with the NCP all his life.
The ruling Mahayuti government in Maharashtra comprises BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and NCP led by Ajit Pawar. Calling himself a “hardcore Shiv Sainik”, Sawant said he sits next to the NCP in the cabinet but when he comes out of the meeting, he throws up.
I never got along with NCP, Congress
“I have never got along with Congress and NCP in my life. I have never gotten along since I was a student. This is the reality. Today, even if I sit in the cabinet with them (NCP), I vomit after coming out. I can’t stand it,” Sawant said during a public event.
Tanaji Sawant’s previous controversy
Sawant had last year sparked a controversy after he reportedly tried to put pressure on a senior police officer from the Dharashiv district and told him that he does not even listen to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and hence the cop should also follow his instructions without any discussion.
