Kolkata: Sanjay R0y, the prime accused in the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape case in West Bengal’s Kolkata, has claimed innocence and said he has been framed in the case. “I am not guilty. I am been a victim of conspiracy,” he said on Monday as a local court framed charges against him.
“I have been silent for so long. I am being framed for no reason. I did not rape and murder. I wanted to say, but was not allowed to say. The government is framing me. I am being threatened from everywhere. That being said, you don’t say anything. The department scared us. I am innocent,” he said.
