Hyderabad: Software engineer dies by suicide by jumping off a building

A 27-year-old software engineer died by suicide by jumping off a 7-storey building in Kokapet area of the city on Thursday, tv9 telugu reported.

The man identified as Naga Prabhakar, was from Tanuku town in AP and was staying at Virupaksha Men’s hostel in Gachibowli, working for a company in Kokapet, Narsingi Inspector Harikrishna Reddy said.

He took the extreme step of jumping off the hostel building due to work stress and possible financial difficulties, reports said.

His body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered on the complaint of his sister, who lives in Secunderabad and investigation is ongoing.
