Upset over her husband not coming home, the woman allegedly made a video call to him and during this time tried to hang herself. Police gave this information. He said that investigation into the matter was started on Saturday after the case was registered at Vadodara Taluka Police Station.
According to the report, the woman’s condition is said to be critical and she is undergoing treatment in the hospital. According to the case registered by the police, the incident took place on Thursday evening when the 28-year-old woman made a video call to her husband and allegedly tried to hang herself. The woman’s husband is a doctor in a hospital in the city. It is alleged that he did not return home to drink tea. His wife was upset by this. BH Chavda, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vadodara Rural Division, said, “The couple has been married for more than a year. We have registered a case as per her husband’s statement. The woman is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment…” Last year in December, a woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district allegedly stabbed her husband in the eyes with scissors when he asked for a cup of tea. Later, fearing police arrest, the woman ran away from the spot. The woman’s husband had asked for a cup of tea, which made the wife angry and she picked up scissors and stabbed her husband in the eye. The husband immediately fell on the ground and started bleeding heavily. Later he was admitted to the hospital.
