New Delhi: In the Amla town of Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district, a sensational incident has taken place. There, a husband behaved with his wife in such a brutal way that anyone’s heart would break. The husband hung the woman upside down from the ceiling. During this time, the woman was screaming and begging for mercy. Neighbours rushed to the spot after hearing the noise and saved the woman’s life.

Raghunath Singh, a resident of Baniyather village in Badaun’s Wazirganj area, said that his sister Dolly was married to Nitin Singh 12 years ago. Nitin is a resident of Amla’s Mohalla Lathaita. Everything went well in the beginning. But slowly the behaviour of Dolly’s in-laws started to change.

Dolly’s brother Raghunath said that Nitin Singh started assaulting Dolly. When Dolly’s opposition increased, he hung Dolly upside down from the ceiling to kill her. Seeing this scary scene, the local people immediately reached the spot and grabbed the woman from below.

People made videos, viral on social media

During the incident, a neighbour made a video of the entire incident, which is now going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that the woman was deliberately tied to fall from the roof. People say that if help had not been given in time, the woman could have died.

A case has been filed against four people

On the complaint of Dolly’s brother, the police have registered a case under serious sections against Nitin Singh, his brother Amit Singh, Amit’s wife and his mother. The police say that the case is being investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits.

Dolly’s condition is stable, and the family is scared

After the incident, Dolly was taken to the hospital, where her condition is now reported as stable. The family has demanded security from the administration. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of fear in the neighbourhood after this incident. People say that such incidents of domestic violence are out of tolerance.

The person in charge of the Amla police station said that, considering the seriousness of the case, a case has been registered against the four accused. Videos and eyewitness statements are being collected. An arrest will be made soon. This incident has once again raised many questions about domestic violence.
