New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has stated on Saturday that several initiatives of the BJP government has given a major impetus to the economy and the country since the last 11 years, especially in the sectors of agriculture. The government has taken major incentives for boosting agriculture.

Increasing emphasis on the upliftment of farmers

Modi emphasised on the fact that the farmers earlier were forced to take loans for meeting their small needs. But the BJP government has taken special care for the upliftment of the small and marginalised farmers ensuring that schemes such as cash assistance and loan insurance are enforced.
