New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has stated on Saturday that several initiatives of the BJP government has given a major impetus to the economy and the country since the last 11 years, especially in the sectors of agriculture. The government has taken major incentives for boosting agriculture.
PM Modi in a post on X has said “It’s our privilege to serve our hardworking farmers… We have focussed on issues like soil health and irrigation, which have been greatly beneficial. Our efforts towards farmer welfare will continue with greater vigour in the times to come.”

Increasing emphasis on the upliftment of farmers
Modi emphasised on the fact that the farmers earlier were forced to take loans for meeting their small needs. But the BJP government has taken special care for the upliftment of the small and marginalised farmers ensuring that schemes such as cash assistance and loan insurance are enforced.
The prime minister has recently highlighted his government’s decisions in the various sectors ahead of its 11th anniversary on June 9, the day Modi took oath in 2024 for a third consecutive term in office.
Boosted the prosperity of farmers
Modi has also remarked that it is a privilege for the government to serve the country’s hardworking farmers. He reaffirmed their faith and trust that they so earnestly bestowed in the NDA government.
