New Delhi: The loss of Baba Siddique seems to have hit Salman Khan pretty hard. For those unaware, the actor was pretty close to the NCP leader. After Siddique’s murder in Mumbai, and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi allegedly behind the attack, Salman has been under heavy security. Keeping Lawrence and Salman’s history and the public death threat towards the actor in mind, Salman has been forced behind bodyguards.
Despite this, the actor has not forgotten his commitments and relationships. Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique recently shared that Salman Khan has been showing continuous support to their family. He revealed that Salman called him every night since Baba’s death.
Salman Khan’s sleepless nights after Baba Siddique’s death
He revealed that Salman has been a great brother to him and called every night to check on him and discuss his sleepless nights. “He always checks up on me, every night, he talks to me about being sleepless and all, his support is always there,” Zeeshan Siddique said. In addition, Baba Siddique’s great relationship with various Bollywood stars has enabled such celebs to support his family in times of need. Stars including Shilpa Shetty and Sanjay Dutt were emotional at the politician’s funeral.
After the open fire on Baba Siddique by three men on October 12, a viral post had shocking claims. The post claimed that Lawrence Bishnoi was responsible for Siddique’s death and that Salman Khan should be aware. Around the same time, shots were fired outside Salman’s house while his father Salim Khan was threatened at gunpoint. Amid Salman’s tight security, Lawrence Bishoi has apparently warned Salman to visit the Bishnoi temple in Rajasthan and apologise for hurting their community after the Blackbuck poaching case. Salman has kept himself reserved and surrounded by Y+ security and has only been travelling to very specific and highly guarded locations.
