New Delhi: Counting of votes is underway for 90 seats of Haryana assembly elections today. As per the latest updates, Congress, against all the exit poll predictions, continued to trail behind Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Wrestler-turned-politician, Vinesh Phogat, who was fielded by the Congress party from Julana assembly seat, was trailing by 1030 votes after six rounds of counting of votes in the state.
Captain Yogesh Bairagi of BJP was leading in as per the early counting of votes in Julana. Apart from Phogat and Bairagi, some of the other candidates who are contesting from Julana seat are- Surender Lather of INLD, Amarjeet Dhanda of the Jannayak Janta Party, Kavita Rani of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Sunil Jogi was fielded by Rashtriya Garib Dal.
