On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the district administration conducted an investigation in Dehradun and other districts and caught 281 such cases where land purchase rules were violated. If seen in terms of area, such land was found to be more than 750 bighas in the district. The administration had vested about 300 bighas of land in the government at the beginning of February.
