New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack, announced a historic milestone in Katra on Friday — the full integration of the Kashmir Valley into country’s railway network.
Addressing a gathering, PM Modi said, “With the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, the Kashmir Valley is now connected to the country’s rail system. The phrase ‘From Kashmir to Kanyakumari’ has now become a reality, even for the railways.”
