New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said India’s policy that previously used to be of “equi-distance” has now transformed into “equi-closeness”. He made the comment while delivering a keynote address at TV9’s What India Thinks Today Summit 2025 at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
PM Modi noted hat the world has its eyes set on India and people are filled with a new curiosity about the country. PM Modi’s statement was indicative of India’s old foreign policy that used to keep a distance from major power blocs.
