Four killed after SUV heading to Maha Kumbh overturns in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district

Sidhi: Four people were killed and as many were injured after the SUV they were travelling to the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj met with an accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district on Monday morning, police said.

The accident took place around 2 AM under the Amahia police station limits when the SUV, en route from Waidhan in Singrauli district to Prayagraj, lost control, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravindra Verma told PTI.

The vehicle, carrying pilgrims, overturned while crossing Mudha Pahad, resulting in four fatalities. The four injured passengers are receiving treatment at a hospital, the official added.
