Kolkata: A stampede took place during the victory celebration of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru after the team beat Punjab Kings by 6 runs in the final of the IPL 2025. The stampede took place during the victory parade in Bengaluru.

As per reports, four RCB fans including a woman have been killed in the stampede so far. Two of them died at the Vaidehi Super Specialty Hospital in Bengaluru’s Vitthal Mallya Road. The dead bodies of two other RCB fans are at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Shivajinagar. The stampede took place near M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Among those dead, there is reportedly a six-year-old girl. The stampede took place as thousands of fans gathered outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to celebrate the victory of RCB in the IPL 2025 on June 4. The death may go up according to reports.

Since early evening on June 4, sea of loyal RCB fans began converging at the stadium. They hoped to to catch a glimpse of their favourite players with the much-awaited IPL trophy as part of the open-bus victory parade from Vidhan Soudh to Chinnaswamy Stadium.
